Saturday 6th February CASUALS 0 Folkestone Invicta 1
Now with just one win in our last nine league outings, this slender defeat against the far from impressive league leaders ensures we are in a relagation fight and now makes Wednesday's trip to Eastbourne the only team in the league with worst current form than us a must win.
The first half was fairly even, but uneventful. We have a massive penalty appeal turned down after a certain handball, and the visitors had a couple of half chances. The second half stared a little brighter in form Micheal Barima hit a 25 yard effort that Delo in the Invicta goal could only watch go inches wide. Leon Yarnie wasted our best chance as he found himself one on one with Delo who went to ground but Yarnie could not steer the ball wide of him into the empty net. Folkestone were also squandering chances at the other end as the match seemed it would be ending goaless. But with four minutes remaining following a goalmouth Melee James Everitt poked the ball home from close range much to the delight of the travelling Seasiders.
